Technical Support / Altar To Pandamius Challenge Entry
« on: October 01, 2014, 06:37:13 pm »
There is currently no Discovery-Dungeons-Altar to Pandamius challenge entry.

Technical Support / Reactive Auras might need looked at again
« on: September 28, 2014, 08:29:35 am »
Shadow Thorn  is affected by modifiers, which can be kind of silly:

I'm guessing all other reactive auras are also affected.

Technical Support / Booster refund more than the booster
« on: September 28, 2014, 04:50:19 am »
Considering the number of coins I spent to get this far, I'm not sure if this needs changed or not... but still weird seeing a refund for almost twice the original cost of the booster.

Suggestions / Charm Sort By Level
« on: September 21, 2014, 02:37:10 am »
Would it be possible to have "Sort By Level" in the gear builder screen put Altar to Pandamius charms (and future high level charms) at the top, instead of having them mixed in with the other level 40s?

Suggestions / Campaign Profile Upgrades
« on: August 17, 2014, 09:26:52 am »
I'd like to see some upgrades to the pve profile page.  Things like:

1) Turning all of the information boxes into individual widgets that could be enabled/disabled/configured/moved around by the player would be nice.  While you would always need a default setup, it would also allow you to edit or create new info boxes without worrying about messing up the entire page for all players.

Depending on what you end up deciding to do with guilds, the entire guild tab could possibly be eliminated, and replaced by one or some of these configurable tiles. Same could possibly go for pets.   As a level 40 player waiting for new content, I'm not actually concerned with nearly anything on the as-is profile page.  I know I'm the anomaly right now, so this might not be something to think about immediately... but maybe to keep in the back of your mind for a year down the line.

2) A 'notepad' space, similar to what was available in E1, could be a very nice addition.

3) The ability to choose which dungeons are being monitored, or at least better auto-management of these dungeons.  Right now I'm seeing Temple of Trials, Abandoned Outpost and Dust Quarry.  I have no idea why I'm seeing them.  I have no interest in them at the moment.  The last three dungeons I ran were Catacombs, Redwaste and Blacksand.

4) A space for non-critical system messages.  E1 had a Tip of the Day, something similar could be enacted here.  I'm more concerned with letting players know of additional functionality that they may not be using, as opposed to gear building tips or general strategy.  Things such as letting people know pvp'ing decreases your pve cooldowns.  I still don't think enough people know this.

Technical Support / [F] Burried Horror/Terror
« on: August 12, 2014, 11:34:25 pm »
I think these guys may be bugged?  We've repeatedly tried to capture them with normal and major soul captures at 1-5hp, before and after their transformations.  We always fail.  Could you check on their soul capture resistance, make sure an extra 0 wasnt tagged onto the end or something?

Technical Support / Capture recorded on an already run dungeon
« on: August 08, 2014, 10:23:33 pm »
Hug, Kada (nimbus) and I were going after a chimera capture.  We succeeded, and we all got it marked in our encyclopedia.

My cooldown was up 10 minutes later, and I convinced them to go again for the sower.  We captured the sower, and while only I received a rewards screen like normal, all three of us were awarded the capture in the encyclopedia.

Is this intended?

Suggestions / Player hand selection during replays
« on: August 07, 2014, 09:16:16 am »
We desperately need a way to choose which players hand to view during pvp replays.  Like little buttons above the replay speed selection to choose on the fly or even pass in the playerid at the end of the replay link so you can only see one hand the entire fight.  Something.

If going the playerid method, you could change the Hot Replays screen so the link to the fight is the player avatar, not the match name (for both pvp and pve to be consistent, and for when mp pve content makes it to the page).

I want to show off some replays to non-players, but they are going to be hopelessly confused by the current setup. I can't even follow it without extreme effort and even then I'm lost if I look away for a second.

Technical Support / [F] Mach Fist
« on: August 05, 2014, 04:35:59 am »
Mach Fist currently targets the user for the weapon damage.  Checking in to see if this is correct or not.

Technical Support / Spiderlings
« on: August 04, 2014, 11:48:53 pm »
Spiderlings (the spiders spawned from the Dusk Queen) are not throwing a "Capture is impossible message", but they are not in the new encyclopedia. I also spent an hour or so trying to capture one with the new Major capture and failed miserably.

I guess either they need an encyclopedia entry, or need to be marked status 4?

Technical Support / [R] Frozen Stew and Lanas Defender
« on: August 04, 2014, 02:16:14 am »
Both the Frozen Stew and Lanas Defender side quests properly show Miracle Harvest for their dungeon, but show Wildhowl for their city.

Technical Support / [R] Tainted Tears and Monsoon Mace
« on: August 04, 2014, 02:14:44 am »
Both Tainted Tears and Monsoon Mace just show "Hidden Effects".

Adventurer's Hall / IRC Quotes
« on: July 28, 2014, 09:12:44 pm »
Another E1 forum transfer, the IRC Quotes thread!  Remember, you can always jump into the channel through your browser by using the IRC link at the top of this page!

Moderation warning: IRC can, and will, have adult language and themes.  As such, this thread will as well.  That said, lets not get carried away with posted content.

Suggestions / World Map
« on: July 25, 2014, 09:26:58 pm »
I still miss the large, beautiful world map (though not necessarily navigating around on it), but this is about the World link at the bottom.  I was talking to a new player, and he mentioned that if he hand't played E1, he wouldn't have know where Aleas was on the map.  I didn't know what to say. It had never occurred to me that a new player wouldn't know where the cities were.

They could click around on the map and find out easy enough, but why not create a resource that shows them, and improves the existing world page in the process?  Excuse the bold yellow outlining, but I was thinking maybe replace the city tile layout with something like this:

I dont know if the pointer lines would be there all the time, or if they would show up on city mouseover, but that gives us a closer look at the beautiful map, shows where the cities actually are, and still lets us expand the city to see the excellent city art.
